The task was given by Nortroll AS, a specialist in electric high power line surveillance. Protolab was involved in the R&D process, detail engineering of the housing and mechanics, several functional prototypes, design and building of production tools, testing and pilot series. We also participated in some development in magnetic functions.<\/p>\n

A device for mounting this Line Fault Indicator onto the line was also developed in sheet metal and prototyped.<\/p>\n
